Since our founding in June 2009, the Kgatelopele Youth Development Forum (KYDF) has been driven by a single purpose: to uplift and empower the young people of Kgatelopele municipal area which is in Danielskuil, Tlhakalatlou, Kuilsville and Lime Acres. What began as a small, community-led effort quickly grew into a full-fledged Youth Service Centre. Guided by a committed Executive Committee and managed day-to-day by our Project Manager, KYDF reaches out to everyone in need—from schoolchildren and young adults to the elderly and those with disabilities.
Over the years, we’ve delivered hot meals and, mentored hundreds of learners, assisted with job-application preparation, and created income-generating opportunities—all with the goal of fostering economic freedom and restoring dignity. Our ongoing objectives—to support the less fortunate, promote social inclusion and build sustainable livelihoods—are woven into every activity, ensuring that no one in our community is left behind.
